NEW STUDENTS

NEU Hillel provides a welcoming, pluralistic Jewish community on campus that supports students in their transition to, and throughout, their university experience. We co-create action opportunities with students to explore and live their values, both on and off-campus. We offer Northeastern students opportunities to develop a meaningful relationship with Israel, including opportunities to study, volunteer, Coop, and tour in Israel.

Fall 2024

August 29th-September 6th

✓ Meet new friends!

✓ Learn about Jewish Life at Northeastern, clubs, academics, co-ops, greek life, and more

✓ Celebrate the end of summer together at a beautiful camp outside of Boston

✓ Share unforgettable experiences with your new Husky family

✓ Move in early

✓ If you are attending a Northeastern mandatory orientation you can still sign up for FreshFest! Although you may not be able to attend the FreshFest retreat you can still participate in other great events throughout the week.

This annual program is put on by Hillel to help freshmen adjust to life on campus and avoid the move-in rush.

The goal of this program is to set you up with a solid network of friends, to help teach you about the best campus locations, give you academic advice, and teach you campus secrets so you’re ahead of the curve.
